FAIRFAX, VA - Sean Perryman’s campaign for Lieutenant Governor announced the endorsement of Dr. Doug Brown, the current Chairman of the Newport News School Board, on Monday. The endorsement follows last week’s announcement of four new endorsements from leading policy activists. Dr. Brown joins 35 other Virginia leaders that have endorsed Perryman since the launch of his historic campaign.

Governor,” said Brown. “As a leader in the education community and in Hampton Roads, I am confident that Sean will be an exceptional leader in Richmond. I have watched Sean work tirelessly to make Virginia schools better for our students. Time and time again, Sean has delivered: from reforming school resource officers, to renaming schools named after confederate generals, Sean has proven to be a strong voice of reason and progress. As the Chair of the Newport News school system, I look forward to working with Sean as our next Lt. Governor.”

Sean Perryman is President of the Fairfax County Chapter of the NAACP, a technology public policy advocate, attorney, and former congressional investigator. If elected he would become one of the youngest Lt. Governors in Virginia history. He has been endorsed by Delegate Kaye Kory, Lindsey Davis Stover, Vice-Mayor Chad Martin, Pastor Michelle Thomas, and dozens of other Virginia Leaders.
